We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our Sydney-based team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate contract value estimates and cost plans for various tenders and engineering studies.
About the Role:- Prepare detailed estimates and pricing models from client or engineering supplied data
- Analyse drawings to identify direct and indirect estimates, including allowances for risk and contingency
- Collate material take-offs and job costs into clear spreadsheets or databases
- Analyse benchmarks and historical costs
- Degree qualified with significant on-the-job experience in electrical estimation
- Experience with database estimating packages
- Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate first principles estimates within strict deadlines
- A minimum of 4+ years' experience in an estimating role
- At least 4+ years' experience within the Energy and Resources sector
