About the Role: Production Team Leader

This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance the vocational opportunities of employees through approved work, training and assessment practices that achieve commercial outcomes for Endeavour Foundation Work sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure supported employees have opportunities to develop their skills, meeting NDIS requirements and site commercial outcomes.
  2. Liaise with management to ensure deadlines are met and outcomes achieved.
  3. Maintain production quality, delivery times, and business requirements in line with customer expectations.
  4. Engage in the manufacturing process, setting up, operating, and shutting down equipment appropriately.
  5. Apply quality controls during production to meet customer requirements.
About You:
  • A relevant Support Worker or disability services background is essential.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments is desirable.
  • You should be comfortable operating machinery and equipment.
  • Supervising large teams is also a requirement.
  • You must be patient, empathetic, and resilient, with excellent communication skills.
  • Couching and mentoring skills are necessary to guide employees in their daily tasks.
  • You should be physically fit due to the demands of the role.
  • Modest experience with MS Office applications is expected.
  • Having a driver's license, forklift ticket, and truck license would be advantageous.
  • A Blue card and NDIS Screening card or willingness to obtain them is required.
  • A Fit2Work clearance is mandatory.
