
Senior Commercial Account Professional

We are seeking a results-driven professional to join our team as an Account Relationship Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our commercial clients.
Your primary objective will be to identify opportunities for growth and work closely with our customers to deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of success in account management, with experience of working with high-value clients. You will also need to be comfortable interpreting technical information and liaising with builders, installers, and architects to ensure solutions align with project requirements.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. If you are a driven and ambitious individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the go-to person for all sales enquiries, quotes, and escalations.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with clients, earning their trust and loyalty.
- Provide tailored product recommendations and support for project requirements.
- Interpret technical information and work closely with builders, installers, and architects.
- Partner with your Customer Service Specialist to ensure prompt and accurate service.
- Follow up on quotes, secure project wins, and contribute to the growth of your account base.
- Identify upsell opportunities, propose new products, and negotiate pricing when needed.
- Maintain accurate client and order data in Salesforce (or similar CRM).
You're someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, responsive on the phone, able to think on your feet, and not rattled by a 'no'. In fact, you're ready with a considered and confident solution.
You come from an Account Manager background with experience and success in dealing with significant revenue-based accounts. You understand how to interpret technical information, and you're comfortable liaising with builders, installers, and architects to ensure solutions align with project needs.
