Job Description

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will be responsible for providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, conducting comprehensive assessments and diagnoses, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Psychological Services: Offer individualized treatment plans, conduct psychological assessments, and develop evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Clinical Supervision: Participate in regular supervision and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in the field.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Clinical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with professional and legal standards.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration;
  • Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, and/or experiences of trauma who have complex needs;
  • Experience in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse populations;
  • Experience in providing clinical and/or behaviour assessment, intervention, and support in the disability, out-of-home care, and/or other relevant sectors;
  • Current Driver's Licence;
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to attain these checks.
