Global Business Development Manager for Satellite Analytics Solutions

LiveEO GmbH, a well-established startup founded in 2018, is seeking an experienced Global Business Development Manager for Satellite Analytics Solutions to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion of our business in the Asia Pacific region.

We are offering a competitive salary of €120,000 - €150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as flexible working hours, opportunities for career development, and participation in our employee stock option program.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with at least 10 years of experience in enterprise software sales to leverage their expertise and drive business growth in a cutting-edge industry. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships with new and existing clients, and negotiate contracts to maximize profits and cash flow.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed net new sales targets for satellite analytics solutions
  • Driving LiveEO's APAC expansion through consultative selling and delivering value to promote each client's success
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients through consultative selling techniques
  • Conducting presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the software's capabilities
  • Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximize profits and cash flow while ensuring customer satisfaction
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years of practical experience in enterprise software sales
  • Strong track record of selling software in a consultative manner, both net new cold acquisition and account management experience to retain, expand, and upsell
  • Expert deal qualification, ideally using formal deal qualification methodologies (MEDDPICC)
  • Entrepreneurial acumen with strong social skills and affinity for overachieving targets
  • Good understanding of software companies and their specific processes
  • Good understanding of utility/energy/O&G pipeline companies and their specific processes
