Job Title: Head of Asset Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Asset Management to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a NSW Property Strategy to ensure capital and facilities are positioned to support safe use and growth into the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide input into the emerging strategy
  • Plan and manage the annual budgets
  • Monitor, review and report on the performance of assets
  • Lead negotiations of new leases and renewals
  • Manage a small property team
  • Oversee compliance
  • Some regional travel required
  • Supervise the daily duties of the property team
Requirements
  • Extensive 7+ years' experience in Asset Management/Facilities Management
  • Previous experience managing a large diverse property portfolio
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • High-level communication skills
  • Ability to prepare budgets and develop scopes of work
