At Accor, we are seeking talented individuals to join our culinary team as a key member in delivering exceptional food experiences to our guests.
As a Demi Chef, you will:
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and preparation, adhering to our property standards and timelines.
- Oversee food preparation during non-service periods, maintaining stock levels and setting up service areas efficiently.
- Develop strong product knowledge of menu items and seasonal ingredients, communicating effectively with the team.
- Provide support, leadership, and training to junior team members, promoting a positive kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with management to maintain cuisine standards and ensure open communication throughout the team.
As a Chef de Partie, you will:
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and preparation, adhering to our property standards and timelines.
- Lead the training and development of junior team members, demonstrating consistent leadership during service periods.
- Oversee food preparation during non-service periods, maintaining stock levels and setting up service areas efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry changes, networking with peers and venues to improve our offerings.
- Foster a harmonious working environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
As a Head Chef, you will:
- Ensure high-quality food presentation and preparation, adhering to our property standards and timelines.
- Drive business growth by achieving set profit targets and implementing menu design and costing strategies.
- Develop and communicate product knowledge to the team, ensuring exceptional food experiences.
- Network with industry peers and venues to stay updated on industry trends.
- Lead the team in maintaining a positive and productive work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Leadership experience in a professional kitchen environment.
- Proven experience with dietary requirements and creating menu options.
- Understanding of local health, safety, and compliance regulations, with a HACCP management certification desired.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with a focus on staff development and productivity.
Compensation:
Demi Chef: $27.83 per hour.
Chef de Partie: $28.57 per hour.
Head Chef: $71,000 - $95,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
