A Technical Inspector role is available, focusing on ensuring workplaces adhere to safety regulations and standards.

About the Role

You will undergo comprehensive training in a supportive environment, assessing compliance with legislative requirements during inspections. This may involve providing advice to employers, supervisors, and workers on regulatory obligations as well as enforcing measures to ensure adherence.

You will also provide specialist expertise to stakeholders in relation to relevant legislation and its application to workplace Health and Safety Representatives, Authorised Representatives of Registered Employee Organisations (ARREOs), employer representatives, and other duty holders.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a systems-thinking approach through experience and/or application, highly developed critical thinking, influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, and proficiency in computer systems and technology.
