About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced diesel fitter to carry out repairs and preventative maintenance on our mobile fleet of heavy equipment.
  • The ideal candidate will perform thorough inspections to determine the condition and suitability for return to service.
  • Responsibilities include completing preventative maintenance tasks such as inspections, servicing and adjustments.
  • Additionally, you will conduct timely breakdown related maintenance including troubleshooting, repairs and replacements.
About You
  • A relevant trade qualification in diesel fitting or equivalent is essential.
  • Prior experience working with Caterpillar, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu mining equipment is highly desirable.
  • You will be expected to work well under pressure and demonstrate high levels of initiative.
  • A strong safety focus and attention to detail are also required to ensure compliance with site safety processes.
