Heavy Diesel Fitter Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Heavy Diesel Fitter at our Poitrel mine site, based in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland.

This role offers a unique chance to work on maintaining a fleet of CAT mobile plant equipment while advancing your career in the mining industry with a leading rental mining fleet supplier in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of heavy diesel engines and equipment
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and other scheduled maintenance activities
  • Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues with heavy diesel equipment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Trade qualification
  • Willingness to complete medical and police checks
  • Mine site experience
  • Unrestricted Australian drivers licence
