Diesel Mechanic - Workshop - Mackay

Competitive Hourly Rate + + OT paid at penalty rates +bonus +super
Early daily shift (7:30am to 3:36pm)

We have an opportunity for a talented Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across on-highway, construction, mining, and agriculture customers based at our Mackay branch.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
Diagnose and repair various engines
Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

Australian recognised Trade certificate (Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel or Plant)
Previous repairs and maintenance experience with On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applications is desirable but not essential
Kenworth, Western Star, Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive above award hourly rate paid as a permanent salary
Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38-hour work week
