About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows and VMware Engineer to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Windows and VMware administration, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in one or more of the following domains: Windows, VMware, Citrix, Exchange, PRTG, ADFS, AD, and Linux.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administering a Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 r2 active directory domain using standard Microsoft snap-ins.
  • Understanding of FSMO Roles, ADFS, and cloud integrations.
  • Installing and managing internal and external certificates.
  • Supporting o365, creating objects in active directory, managing share permissions, and MS Exchange.
  • CITRIX / NetScaler support, knowledge of Big Fix for rolling out patches to Windows servers, and F5 Load Balancer support.
  • Delegating active directory object permissions, managing groups and permissions, and Microsoft Distributed File System.
  • Experience managing Active Directory-integrated DNS and DHCP solutions, creating and managing group policies, and troubleshooting.
  • Active Directory Migration experience, improving AD processes, and automating repetitive tasks.
  • Configuring and maintaining WSUS and/or SCCM server, and developing scripted solutions using Microsoft PowerShell.
  • Installation of ESX Servers, vCenter Server, and vSphere Client, and extensive knowledge in advance features of ESX VMOTION, SVMOTION, HA, and DRS.
  • Experience in P2V, V2V MIGRATION using VMware Converter and Provisioning VMs from templates and cloning.
  • Worked on disaster recovery using SRM-Site recovery manager, health check for VMs and ESX host, and experience in enterprise level PKI administration.
  • Experience in enterprise level AD sites and service administration/management, AD trust relationship configuration and troubleshooting, and LDAP configuration and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of domain experience in one or more of the following domains: Windows, VMware, Citrix, Exchange, PRTG, ADFS, AD, and Linux.
  • 2 years of team management experience in onshore/offshore model.
  • Act as single point of contact for the client for all Infrastructure requirements.
  • Collate, consolidate, and present reports on Tickets to the client.
  • 2 years of Project management experience is desirable.
  • Outstanding communication/presentation skills.
  • ITIL V3 foundation certification / Knowledge.
  • Excellence in Customer interaction.
  • Experience in Data Centre operations.
  • Business acumen and IT knowledge.
  • Excellence in strategic and analytical problem solving.
  • Experience in Operations/Consulting background.
  • Should be Individual Performer.
