About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows and VMware Engineer to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Windows and VMware administration, with a strong focus on Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP solutions. They will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and high levels of performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 r2 active directory domains using standard Microsoft snap-ins.
  • Managing Active Directory-integrated DNS and DHCP solutions.
  • Creating and managing group policies and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Active Directory Migration and process improvement.
  • Configuring and maintaining WSUS and/or SCCM servers.
  • Developing scripted solutions using Microsoft PowerShell.
  • Installation and management of ESX Servers, vCenter Server, and vSphere Client.
  • Extensive knowledge in advanced features of ESX VMOTION, SVMOTION, HA, and DRS.
  • Experience in P2V, V2V migration using VMware Converter and provisioning VMs from templates and cloning.
  • Worked on disaster recovery using SRM-Site recovery manager.
  • Health Check for VMs and ESX hosts.
  • Experience in enterprise-level PKI administration.
  • Experience in enterprise-level AD sites and service administration/management.
  • Experience in AD trust relationship configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in LDAP configuration and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
  • 12 years of domain experience in Windows, VMware, Citrix, Exchange, PRTG, ADFS, AD, and Linux.
  • 2 years of team management experience in onshore/offshore model.
  • Act as single point of contact for the client for all Infrastructure requirements.
  • Collate, consolidate, and present reports on Tickets to the client.
  • 2 years of Project management experience is desirable.
  • Outstanding communication/presentation skills.
  • ITIL V3 foundation certification/Knowledge.
  • Excellence in Customer interaction.
  • Experience in Data Centre operations.
  • Business acumen and IT knowledge.
  • Excellence in strategic and analytical problem-solving.
  • Experience in Operations/Consulting background.
  • Should be an Individual Performer.
Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge in all facets of AD-related tasks and activities.
  • Administering a Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 r2 active directory domain using standard Microsoft snap-ins.
  • Understanding of FSMO Roles.
  • ADFS and cloud integrations.
  • Good knowledge on installing and managing Internal and External Certificates.
  • Support o365.
  • Creating objects in active directory.
  • Managing share permissions.
  • MS Exchange.
  • CITRIX / NetScaler support.
  • Knowledge of Big Fix for rolling out patches to Windows servers.
  • F5 Load Balancer support.
  • Delegating active directory object permissions.
  • Managing groups and permissions.
  • Microsoft Distributed File System.
  • Microsoft Distributed File System Replication.
  • Microsoft File/Print services.
