The RoleAs a Room Leader, you will be an integral part of a team that delivers high-quality education and care to children. Your role will involve observing children, guiding their learning process, and developing a love of learning. You will work collaboratively with the team to create a nurturing environment that supports children's growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of educators to provide high-quality education and care to children
- Observe children and guide their learning process to develop a love of learning
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a nurturing environment that supports children's growth and development
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, including the National Regulations, National Quality Standards, and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and the community
- Cert III or Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent)
- 1-2 years experience in a leadership role
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Strong understanding of the importance of family communications
