About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Montessori Academy. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education to children under the age of six.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with children and families
  • Design and implement the Children's Program, aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework guidelines
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and children, adhering to OH&S policies and procedures
  • Ensure accurate records are kept regarding accidents, incidents, and medication
  • Implement the service's philosophy in all aspects of your work
  • Liaise with families regarding daily activities and progress
  • Maintain observations and records of individual children's progress
About You
  • Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care or actively studying towards (or ACECQA equivalent)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Understanding of regulations and legislation related to children's services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the National Regulations, National Quality Standards, and the Early Years Learning Framework
