Senior Vessel Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join our team in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard our transhipment vessel.
Responsibilities:- Safe/efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard;
- Supervising all Engineering Officers;
- Safeguarding the Overs' and Company's interest at all times;
- Assisting the Chief Officer in the operation of the ship's cargo equipment;
- As per AMSA Marine Order 72 – Engineer class 1 (required)
- Minimum 12 months sea time as a First Engineer (required)
- Certificate of Safety Training (STCW III/2) (desirable)
- Work Safely at Heights Certification (desirable)
- Enter and Work in Confined Space Certification (desirable)
- Australian Citizen or unlimited Australian Working Rights
- Living in Australia
- Be comfortable wearing a respirator
