**Job Opportunity:**
CSL Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master to join our transhipment vessel in Western Australia. This role involves overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the ship, ensuring the safety of crew and cargo, and adhering to company policies on safety, security, and environmental protection. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of maritime regulations and operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Implementation of company policies and procedures on matters of safety, security, and environmental protection
  • Ensuring commercial considerations do not compromise safety and environmental standards
  • Allocation of tasks and duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the ship
  • Decision-making regarding safety, crew, passengers, and pollution prevention

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • AMSA Master COC/COR Unlimited certification
  • Minimum 5 years' sea time as a Chief Officer
  • STCW regulation II/2 compliance
  • MSIC Card
  • ECDIS and GMDSS proficiency
  • Certificate of Safety Training
  • Australian citizenship or valid working visa without restrictions
  • Living in an Australian state
