Job Title: Bus Fleet Operations Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of our bus fleet. This role requires strong leadership and strategic planning skills to manage resources, prioritize tasks, and achieve safety and performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand operational requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead a team of technicians and supervisors to maintain and repair buses, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and employee performance.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in fleet operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fleet maintenance management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing teams, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing fleet maintenance.
