We pride ourselves on excellent customer service.An exciting opportunity has become available due to recent growth to join our logistics team in the position of Logistics Supervisor.
This position is part of the team responsible for the coordination of contracted and chartered bus operations.The position involves overseeing and coordinating transportation to ensure smooth operations across Logistics Operations.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Depot roll-in and outs daily to ensure vehicles depart safely and on time.Monitoring driver presentation and uniforms.Tracking fleet movements.Using radio communications.Assisting with location coordination for large movements such as school inter-athletics carnivals.Scheduling daily fleet movements.Performing additional tasks as required.Knowledge of fatigue management strategies is preferred but not essential.Requirements include excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task.A commitment to high-quality customer care is essential.
Previous experience in a similar role and within the bus industry is preferred but not essential.This is a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
