Youth and Family Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Youth and Family Support Specialist. This position presents a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people and their families.
About the Role:- This role will play a pivotal part in providing high-level case management support, advocacy, and education to youth and families facing various challenges.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing timely referrals, conducting assessments, developing individualised case plans and goals, working closely with families and relevant services, and providing ongoing support to ensure the well-being and success of each client.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor degree in psychology, social sciences, social work or related fields, as well as minimum two years' experience working with young people and their families, including case management and/or a community development role. Additionally, they will require a valid Class C NSW Drivers License and vehicle, willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and current First Aid and CPR certificates.
In terms of skills, the successful candidate will have strong communication skills, with the capacity to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities. They will also demonstrate computer and IT literacy skills, in MS Word and MS Excel, and a commitment to Work Health and Safety and Cultural Diversity Principles.
As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
