Student Support Specialist roles available

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our student support services, you will play a vital role in identifying and addressing the needs of students with disabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to staff and students on disability-related matters
  • Develop and implement resources and training programs to promote inclusive practices across the university
  • Support students in accessing reasonable academic adjustments and developing skills for independence and self-advocacy
  • Contribute to an evidence-based model of service delivery and monitor, evaluate and report on outcomes and impact

Requirements:

  • Degree in occupational therapy, psychology or other allied health profession
  • Registration with relevant registration board or professional association membership
  • At least 4 years relevant experience or comparable combination of experience and education/training
  • Ability to perform duties at a skill level requiring knowledge equivalent to degree-level qualifications
