About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a vital role in providing personalised care and support to our participants. Your daily tasks will involve assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. You will also be responsible for providing behaviour supports and engaging our participants in social and recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Providing behaviour supports and developing strategies to promote positive outcomes
  • Engaging participants in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with industry standards and company policies
Requirements

To succeed in this rewarding role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services
  • Previous experience in a similar support worker or care assistant role, preferably within the aged care or disability sectors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with clients
  • A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others and a commitment to person-centred care
