Job Title: HSEQ Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSEQ Compliance Specialist to join our team. As an HSEQ Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all project sites.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to various projects and enjoy a vibrant and dynamic work environment. You will report directly to the HSEQ Manager and be responsible for conducting safety, quality, and environmental inspections, ensuring consistent adherence to site setup procedures across all projects. You will also assist staff, site teams, and contractors in complying with relevant legislation, standards, and contractual arrangements.

Responsibilities:

e Conducting safety, quality, and environmental inspections, ensuring consistent adherence to site setup procedures across all projects.e Assisting staff, site teams, and contractors in complying with relevant legislation, standards, and contractual arrangements.e Supporting the HSEQ Manager in delivering the Safety Management System, including policies, procedures, manuals, and practices.e Acting as a company representative for all WHS matters.e Proactively assisting work teams in implementing and embedding health and safety work plans.e Keeping up-to-date with legislative changes and continuously reviewing and improving policies and procedures.e Monitoring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.e Providing workplace safety, health, environmental, and quality support and advice to the Senior Management Team and staff.e Assisting in assurance and audit activities within the company.e Contributing to the development, review, and monitoring of the HSEQ Plan and objectives and targets.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • ё Minimum Cert. IV in workplace safety. ё Knowledge of HSEQ processes and previous experience in a similar role. ё Demonstrated unwavering commitment to health and safety. ё Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ё Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment. ё Strong problem-solving abilities. ё Related industry experience, particularly in commercial and civil construction (highly desirable). ё Current driver's license. ё National Construction General Induction Card (All States Recognized).


The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are passionate about ensuring safety, quality, and compliance within the construction industry and possess the required qualifications and skills, we would love to hear from you.
