We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Risk Specialist to join our AXA XL Compliance Team in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that we deliver fair and reasonable customer outcomes across our diverse range of products.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling complaints from AXA XL policyholders, including Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) and External Dispute Resolution (EDR) complaints. You will also manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including coverholders and claims administrators, to ensure delivery of appropriate customer outcomes.

Your expertise in complaint handling, regulatory requirements, and compliance issues will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals and treating our policyholders fairly in all circumstances.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in complaint handling, preferably in the general insurance industry.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of general insurance products and compliance issues.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including the General Insurance Code of Practice and AFCA and ASIC complaint handling processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
