Pathology Business Development Specialist

About The RoleThis role is reporting into the Business Development and Sales Manager - Revenue and involves acting as the bridge between the business and healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth and promote the services of the Pathology businesses to the Traralgon and Gippsland areas.
You will achieve this by taking a targeted approach to the market, driving strategic marketing and sales initiatives, and managing new and existing referrers while communicating and collaborating with all internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop current referrer relationships, whilst delivering on current marketing strategies
- Act as the first point of contact for referrer matters with a customer-focused attitude
- Resolve and/or escalate referrer issues or complaints as they arise
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan and deliver revenue on growth strategies
- Increase revenue to assigned territory in line with the budget expectations
- Identify new customer opportunities and develop relationships to gain new referrers
- Increase referrer base in line with predefined KPIs
- Maintain ongoing competitor and market analysis
- Achieve revenue targets via the implementation of revenue growth strategies
- Current Driver's Licence is essential
- Qualification in a Health Science, Business, Sales, or Medical Terminology is desirable but not essential
- Recent graduate or industry background is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated sales experience with a history of achieving sales targets, preferably in healthcare is desirable but not essential
- Proficient computer literacy in applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and CRM tools (Salesforce) is desirable but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to referring practitioners is essential
- Strong organisational and time management skills is essential
