Clinical Nurse Consultant in Perinatal Addiction
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute their expertise in perinatal addiction care.
- Lead the development of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, education programs, and research initiatives focused on perinatal addiction.
- Provide expert clinical advice to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals with complex healthcare needs.
- Foster excellence in clinical practice through leadership, collaboration, and professional development.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework. They will also have a proven track record of contributing to strategic service planning and developing and implementing change in clinical practice based on evidence-based research.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve perinatal addiction care outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to women, children, and families affected by perinatal addiction.
- Mentor and support junior staff members in their professional development.
- Postgraduate qualification in nursing or related field.
- Extensive experience in perinatal addiction care.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
