Senior Clinical Specialist in Perinatal and Adult Mental Health

This role offers a chance to work as a Staff Specialist in Adult and Perinatal Psychiatry, providing expert assessment and treatment for patients within the Adult Inpatient Unit and Community Perinatal Service at Sutherland Hospital Mental Health Service.
The specialist will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working effectively with medical and other health services colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert medical assessment and management of patients within the department/service.
- Work collaboratively with medical and other health services colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
The Sutherland Shire is a picturesque region located just 25kms from Sydney's CBD. It offers a mix of coastal relaxation, cosmopolitan luxury, and easy access to Sydney's attractions.
The area boasts pristine surf beaches, four national parks, and sparkling waterways, making it an ideal place to live and work.
Selection Criteria- Registration or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and/or equivalent specialist recognition.
- Proven capacity and/or experience in delivering high-quality service in the specialty.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and training both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
