Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Performance and Training Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving performance improvement and developing high-performing teams.

The successful candidate will work closely with Area Managers to identify and address regional performance gaps, upskill and mentor teams to build capability and promote best practice. They will also be responsible for reviewing compliance obligations and assisting in internal auditing processes, driving accountability and achievement of performance metrics in line with contract benchmarks.

This role requires strong leadership skills, operational knowledge of employment services, and a track record of achieving KPIs. The successful applicant will have the ability to collaborate with leaders on data analysis and contribute to performance strategy, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Area Managers in identifying and addressing regional performance gaps
  • Upskilling and mentoring teams to build capability and promote best practice
  • Reviewing compliance obligations and assisting in internal auditing processes
  • Driving accountability and achievement of performance metrics in line with contract benchmarks
  • Supporting the onboarding and induction of new team members
  • Collaborating with leaders on data analysis and contributing to performance strategy
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum qualification at VET Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a frontline or leadership role within Employment Services
  • Current driver's licence and access to reliable transport
  • Demonstrated history of achieving performance outcomes
