Process Engineer Job Summary

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing manufacturing processes for a growing division. You will work directly with the Process Engineering Manager to understand process technology, troubleshoot issues, develop capabilities, achieve quality standards, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide process capability information during pre-order efforts
  • Support production to keep jobs moving
  • Improve processes to reduce processing time and costs
  • Provide process information to the design team on new jobs
  • Support scheduled preventive maintenance activities and equipment upkeep
  • Ensure safety and participate in training
  • Champion company culture and create a strong business unit
  • Create and maintain a task tracking system for the process group and monitor metrics
  • Develop a process information system for the process group
  • Lead process improvement teams to enhance processes and support customers
Requirements:
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in engineering discipline or equivalent work/education experience
  • Hands-on mechanical experience
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Skills: material science, components, processes, electrical/mechanical testing, regulatory approvals; excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Access database navigation, Internet; excellent written and verbal communication skills
