Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Control Management will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's risk management framework. This strategic position requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating potential risks across critical processes.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Risk Identification and Assessment:
    • Determine current and emerging strategic risks through collaboration with subject matter experts.
    • Evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of identified strategic risks using developed methodologies.
    • Maintain and update the strategic risk taxonomy to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Oversight Framework Development and Implementation:
    • Design and implement frameworks, policies, and procedures for effective oversight of strategic risks.
    • Contribute to the establishment of key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to monitor strategic risk exposure.
    • Support the development of reporting mechanisms to communicate strategic risk information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Risk Monitoring and Analysis:
    • Monitor strategic risk trends and changes in the internal and external environment that may impact the organization's risk profile.
    • Analyze risk data to provide insightful reports on strategic risk exposures and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Partner with various departments to foster a strong risk-aware culture and integrate risk management considerations into strategic planning processes.
    • Communicate risk assessment findings and recommendations clearly to different audiences.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degrees are advantageous.
    • Experience working with internal and external auditors.
    • Strong project management skills and ability to analyze complex processes.
    • Excellent communication and executive presence.
    • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple requests and prioritize accordingly.
