Strategic Risk Manager

The Senior Manager of Control Management will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's risk management framework. This strategic position requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating potential risks across critical processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Risk Identification and Assessment:
- Determine current and emerging strategic risks through collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of identified strategic risks using developed methodologies.
- Maintain and update the strategic risk taxonomy to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Oversight Framework Development and Implementation:
- Design and implement frameworks, policies, and procedures for effective oversight of strategic risks.
- Contribute to the establishment of key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to monitor strategic risk exposure.
- Support the development of reporting mechanisms to communicate strategic risk information to relevant stakeholders.
- Risk Monitoring and Analysis:
- Monitor strategic risk trends and changes in the internal and external environment that may impact the organization's risk profile.
- Analyze risk data to provide insightful reports on strategic risk exposures and potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with various departments to foster a strong risk-aware culture and integrate risk management considerations into strategic planning processes.
- Communicate risk assessment findings and recommendations clearly to different audiences.
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degrees are advantageous.
- Experience working with internal and external auditors.
- Strong project management skills and ability to analyze complex processes.
- Excellent communication and executive presence.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple requests and prioritize accordingly.
