We are seeking a senior professional to lead the implementation of health, safety and environmental strategies across various water infrastructure projects in Melbourne's south-east.

This is a pivotal role where you'll champion a proactive safety culture across all project sites, develop and execute HSE plans, audits and risk assessments, ensure compliance with legislation and internal systems, provide coaching and support to project teams, investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

To be successful in this role, you'll need proven experience in a similar HSE leadership position within civil infrastructure or utilities, a strong working knowledge of Victorian OHS and environmental legislation, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and relevant certifications such as Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety.

About the Role

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar HSE leadership role within civil infrastructure or utilities.
