We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Palliative Care Unit at Mount Druitt Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide individualized patient care and support to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, prioritizing patient needs and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective care plans in consultation with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to palliative care principles.
- Experience in palliative care/oncology or related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications in palliative care/oncology or related field, or working towards same.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including therapeutic communication principles.
