Turn technical expertise into customer success by providing advanced site support, troubleshooting complex issues and identifying opportunities that contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth.

In this role you will be the primary on-site technical resource for PCV products, building strong relationships with customers and optimizing their equipment performance to minimize downtime. You will also identify improvement opportunities and provide leads to the sales team.

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Service & Aftermarket team in Mackay. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer engagement, helping mining operations get the most from their pumps, cyclones and valves.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary on-site technical resource for PCV products.

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based customer relationships.

  • Conduct proactive equipment inspections and audits.

  • Identify improvement opportunities and provide leads to the sales team.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize PCV performance to minimize downtime.

  • Support pump, cyclone and valve conversions by showcasing technical benefits.

  • Record site activities, inspections and opportunities in the CRM system.

  • Prepare structured technical reports and share insights with sales colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical or trade qualification in mechanical, process or related engineering field.

  • Hands-on experience with pumps, cyclones or valves in a mining or heavy industry environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.

  • Proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills.

  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
