Senior Technical Specialist

As a key member of our technical services team, you will be hands on with clients across various industries. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and service telecommunications solutions that help our clients keep their workforce safe and manage their assets effectively.
You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. This may involve maintaining technical service procedures, managing radio programming, testing and maintenance of code plugs, and staying up-to-date with regulatory changes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and communications, RF engineering or related fields. They should also have experience working in a client-facing environment, preferably in the field of two-way radio and telecommunications.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of technical service procedures and schedules
- Management of radio programming and testing
- Knowledge of ACMA regulatory landscape
- Current high-risk licence and confidence in working at heights, EWP's and tower climbing
- Preparation of documents as required for implementation plans, site assessments/surveys and reports (internal and external)
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Certifications in Electronics & Communications, RF engineering or related field
- Previous experience working in a client-facing environment in either Radio, Wireless IP Networking or Microwave technology, CCTV, PAGA (Analogue, P25 & DMR experience highly favorable)
