National Coding Audit Specialist

We are seeking a skilled National Clinical Coding Audit Coordinator to join our clinical coding audit team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading coding teams with integrity and a strong commitment to coding accuracy.
The successful candidate will utilise their clinical coding expertise to coordinate audit team response to insurer onsite and remote audits, aligning audit work programs with internal coding initiatives to improve coding accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Experience: Leading coding teams with integrity and a strong commitment to coding accuracy.
- Knowledge: Clinical coding using current ICD-AM/ACHI and ACS, and how coding data underpins DRG classification.
- Certification: Certificate IV in Clinical Classification, Associate Diploma or Bachelor of Applied Science, Medical Record Administration or Health Information Management, or equivalent.
- Desirable Qualifications: Certificate in External Clinical Coding Auditing or relevant experience.
