We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Financial Director. This is a rare chance to step into a respected, high-trust community-owned organisation with a strong reputation in aged care nationally.

You will lead a small, well-functioning team, guide financial strategy, drive efficiencies, and work side-by-side with the CEO to shape ideation and capital planning, revenue streams, and board-level decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small, well-functioning team to achieve organisational goals
  • Guide financial strategy and capital planning to drive business growth
  • Drive efficiencies and smarter reporting to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to shape ideation and board-level decisions

Requirements:

  • A CPA or CA qualification, and a degree in Business, Commerce or Accounting
  • A collaborative, emotionally intelligent leader who values trust and transparency
  • A strategic thinker who backs decisions with evidence and enables others to succeed

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven experience leading financial operations, compliance, and reporting in healthcare, aged care, NGO or complex service environments
  • Deep experience across budgeting, forecasting, capital planning and risk management
  • A calm, collaborative leadership style with the confidence to guide Board-level conversations
  • A hands-on approach and comfort leading a small team
