Financial Analyst Role

The Greater Shepparton area is a vibrant and diverse region with a strong economy driven by agriculture, food processing, manufacturing, and transport. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for data analysis and be able to build strong relationships with business partners to achieve strategic financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake data analytics to provide insights and identify trends, issues, or risks
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners
  • Review finance procedures and processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Assist with financial modelling and scenario analysis

This role plays a key part in the decision-making process by analysing data, providing insights that support quality decision making, and developing working relationships within Council to facilitate continuous improvement.
