About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Minor Works Delivery Lead to join our team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our Business Technology team, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering minor works, small system enhancements, and small work packages for your allocated portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all elements of Minor Works delivery, including scope, resourcing, timelines, risks, and issues, stakeholder engagement, approvals, and budget control.
  • Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver success, including internal technology and business stakeholders, as well as external vendors.
  • Deliver accurate status reporting to both technology and business stakeholders, as required.
  • Effectively manage prioritization of minor works initiatives via the backlog.
  • Ensure deadlines, priorities, and dependencies are communicated and understood by all stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Ensure delivery compliance with the Virgin Australia/Velocity Delivery Framework and support its continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience in a Project Manager, Project Lead, or Service Delivery Lead role.
  • Strong business acumen with a passion for delivering success.
  • Highly experienced in working with prioritization pipelines.
  • Proven success in problem-solving in a complex Business Systems environment.
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills, especially the credibility to have a positive influence on a range of stakeholders, and lead high-performing teams.
  • A strong understanding of business and technical requirements, analysis, business process modeling, and data mapping.
  • Results-driven, with a strong customer orientation.
  • Detailed-oriented with proven time management and organization skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve results.
  • Ability to juggle multiple initiatives, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
