HR Advisor Job

We are seeking a talented and motivated HR Advisor to join our team.

As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing advice and support to HR Business Partners nationally. Your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance on Human Resources (HR), Workplace Relations (WR), and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) matters, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising employees on HR, WR, and WHS matters;
  • Regularly reporting on broad range of HR matters;
  • Supporting HR Business Partners and Line Managers in investigating complaints, leading processes where appropriate, and preparing documentation and reports;
  • Assisting People Managers with Salvos Workday tasks as necessary;
  • Triaging and assisting with Service Now tickets and responding to queries received from stakeholders;
  • Facilitating HR activities within the recruitment, onboarding, and induction process for Support Office vacancies;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders on HR projects as necessary;

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A degree or qualification in Human Resources is desirable;
  • Demonstrated relevant industry experience in HR support/generalist role;
  • A sound understanding of employee relations;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
