About This Role

We are seeking a skilled legal professional to join our team on a part-time basis.


Main Responsibilities

This role will involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and commercial matters.


You will assist with core areas of service as required, including health law, litigation, privacy, Freedom of Information, research, reporting obligations, consent to treatment, aged care, family law and children's law issues relevant to our functions, corporate governance, regulatory issues, intellectual property and leases of real property, insurance, statutory interpretation, probity and procurement, policies and procedures.


Essential Attributes

As an experienced legal professional, you will work autonomously or with minimal support in commercial and contracts, and offer stakeholder-focussed, pragmatic legal advice. You will be happy to work with rapidly changing and competing priorities and willing to upskill and develop in other areas of law arising in public health legal practice.
