Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Generalist Lawyer, located in Ballarat, VIC. The Generalist Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation, managing case files, and delivering high-quality legal services to clients. The role involves working on a diverse range of legal matters, including family law, criminal law, civil law, and tenancy issues. Additionally, the Generalist Lawyer will engage in community legal education and collaborate with other legal professionals to support clients' best interests.

Qualifications

• Legal knowledge and experience in family law, criminal law, civil law, and tenancy issues
• Strong case management and client advocacy skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to social justice and providing equitable legal services
• Admitted as a legal practitioner in Victoria, with a valid practicing certificate
• Experience with community legal education is a plus
• Proficient in using legal case management software
