Laboratory Operations Manager

Programmed is seeking a skilled Laboratory Supervisor to lead their laboratory team.
- Oversee daily operations and provide direction and assistance to personnel.
- Ensure smooth sample handling, processing, and record-keeping.
- Conduct Finished Food Product Testing and Raw Material Testing; perform competency assessments as required.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role highly regarded.
- Bachelor of Science in biological, physical, chemical, or clinical laboratory science with 5 years of experience in food manufacturing high complexity laboratories.
- Sound working knowledge of food safety systems, including HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practice programs.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
