Job Description

As a Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our main pathology laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality pathology services.
  • Drive operational excellence and maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, support, and perform a large multidisciplinary team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and quality.

Working in Our Team

You will be part of an Australian-wide medical testing NATA accredited laboratory network, focused on medical leadership and expert advice.

About the Role

This is an executive leadership role where you will lead the operations of our main pathology laboratory in South Australia.

As Laboratory Manager, you will play a crucial role in the development, support, and performance of a large multidisciplinary team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

A degree in a relevant field such as Science or Healthcare Management is essential.

Desirable Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field are desirable.

Key Skills:

Leadership skills, strong communication skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Strategic thinking, project management, and change management skills.

A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to work well under pressure.
