As a highly skilled Laboratory Manager, you will have the chance to lead the operations of our main pathology laboratory and drive operational excellence.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can ensure the delivery of high-quality pathology services, while maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, supervise scientific, administrative, technical, and ancillary functions, and provide scientific and technical expertise in performing and overseeing diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee laboratory operations to ensure efficient use of resources

• Monitor quality control procedures to maintain accurate and reliable test results

• Supervise all scientific, administrative, technical, and ancillary functions

• Provide scientific and technical expertise in performing and overseeing diagnostic procedures

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality

Requirements:

• Strong background in science with commercial acumen and leadership experience

• Tertiary qualification in Science, Applied Science, Laboratory Medicine, Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent

• Proven leadership experience in a large organization, preferably in the pathology sector

• Exceptional communication and time management skills

• Ability to cope and thrive in a busy environment and attention to detail
