About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced clinician to provide high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral difficulties. As a Senior Specialist Mental Health Worker, you will conduct assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and manage a complex caseload. You will also contribute to service development, clinical standards implementation, and continuous improvement in care models.
This role requires strong clinical expertise in child and youth mental health, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a diverse cultural context.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical assessment, treatment, and case management for children and youth.
- Contribute to the development of new service models and contemporary care approaches.
- Implement and uphold clinical guidelines and standards.
- Maintain high standards in clinical documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure integrated service delivery.
- Essential: Professional registration (AHPRA, Social Work, or equivalent); demonstrated clinical experience with children and adolescents; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team; strong written communication skills; current Northern Territory driver's license.
- Desirable: Postgraduate qualifications in mental health; experience in child and adolescent mental health services.
- Highly subsidised accommodation.
