Knowmore Legal Service is a nationwide organisation that supports victim-survivors of childhood abuse and the Stolen Generations in accessing legal redress and justice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal services to individuals seeking advice on their legal options in relation to childhood sexual abuse.
- Offer high-quality legal information, advice, representation and referral services to clients who are survivors of child sexual abuse and the Stolen Generation, through telephone and face-to-face services.
- Contribute as a professional member of a national legal practice, adhering to relevant legal profession legislation and best practices.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team model to ensure client needs are identified and addressed.
Our lawyers work closely with social workers, counsellors, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Engagement Advisers and financial counsellors to provide a comprehensive support service.
