POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing execution of sourcing strategies that align with company goals and drive cost efficiency, quality, and service excellence. This role will assist in managing vendor relationships, conducting detailed financial and market analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective sourcing operations across assigned product categories or business areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement and monitor sourcing strategies that meet cost, quality, and service objectives across assigned categories.
• Conduct financial analyses, cost modeling, and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate cost increases.
• Support the identification and evaluation of new sourcing opportunities, both domestically and internationally.
• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with vendors, merchants, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on sourcing goals and expectations.
• Research and analyze vendor capabilities, supply market dynamics, and industry trends to inform sourcing decisions.
• Manage cost approval processes in Atelier, ensuring compliance with Signet's costing guidelines.
• Support merchant-driven initiatives, including vendor onboarding and communication of project updates.
• Monitor and respond to inquiries in the sourcing support inbox, providing timely and accurate assistance to vendors, merchants, and internal departments.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or a related function preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience working with sourcing or costing platforms such as Atelier is a plus.
• Knowledge of vendor management and supply chain best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
