A career opportunity has arisen for a skilled Employment Relations Lawyer to join our team. As an experienced lawyer, you will provide strategic advice on employment and industrial relations matters to private and public sector clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice on complex workplace relations and employment matters;
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and workplace documentation;
- Representing clients in courts, tribunals, and commissions on employment and industrial disputes;
- Minimizing risk and resolving workplace claims through proactive and commercially focused approaches;
- Collaborating with partners and colleagues to deliver innovative and practical solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 4-7 years' post-admission experience in employment relations, workplace relations, or industrial relations law;
- Experience providing front-end workplace relations advice and conducting back-end litigation;
- Familiarity with federal and/or state industrial relations frameworks;
- Strong drafting, communication, and advocacy skills;
- A proactive and commercially focused approach to client service.
