We are seeking a skilled employment lawyer to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on complex workplace relations and employment matters, including compliance, enterprise bargaining, workplace change, and dispute management.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Providing strategic advice to minimize risk and resolve workplace claims
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and workplace documentation
  • Representing clients in courts, tribunals, and commissions on employment and industrial disputes

The successful candidate will possess strong drafting, communication, and advocacy skills, as well as a proactive and commercially focused approach to client service. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and genuine passion for employment law are essential.

Requirements:
  • 4–7 years' post-admission experience in employment relations, workplace relations, or industrial relations law
  • Experience providing front-end workplace relations advice and conducting back-end litigation
  • Strong skills in drafting, communication, and advocacy
  • Proactive and commercially focused approach to client service
  • Ability to manage competing matters and deadlines with professionalism
