We are seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role

Mechanical engineers play a vital role in designing and developing innovative solutions for water storage dam infrastructure. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects for our clients and helping to develop a robust and skilled team capable of sustaining long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership in the design of gates, regulating structures, outlet works, valves, fish screens, and other mechanical aspects of water storage dam infrastructure.
  • Mentor and work closely with the rest of the team to develop sustainable capability in our Australia-based team and globally.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and experience in the mechanical engineering aspects of water storage dams. They will also have experience at all project phases, including project identification, feasibility studies, conceptual design, reference design, and detailed design. Additionally, they will have a minimum of 15 years' experience in a consulting environment, specifically in the design and specification of gates, hoists, outlet works, trash racks, fishways, pipe work, valves, and other mechanical equipment associated with dams.
